“Altered Treasured Memory Box” Workshop – 20th March

February 9, 2010

Since posting photos earlier on the blog about this workshop, we’ve received emails asking just when we are going to hold this great event. We are proud to announce the date for this next local Albany workshop is Saturday 20th March 2010 from 10am-4pm.  Come along and join us for the day as we alter a plain box into a  treasured memory piece. Once you’ve made one, you’ll be hooked. We will teach you great construction, paint & collage techniques for your box which will showcase a layered & embellished interior. Check out more photos of this workshop here http://destinationart.net/blog/?p=1086.  This meatsafe inspired box is tailor made to hold memories of your family, past or present OR you can use our range of vintage ephemera on hand to adorn your project.  Attendees will be provided with all materials, 6 hours of workshop bliss and is great value for $110.  Please register your place or direct any enquiries by emailing us at tedep@westnet.com.au.  Don’t miss out , we have  limited spots available as we have already received some bookings for this event.

What a fantastic idea that is Jackie. We bet you’d have lots of bits and pieces around the farm that could be incorporated into your memory box, send the kids on a scavenger hunt!!!! Oh!! We’re going to have a great time seeing everyones finished.. hurry up March 20th!! Hugs, the girls
