This project is a great way to show how you can turn a simple old clothing tag into something special!
First thing we did was coat the entire tag in distress ink Frayed Burlap, after it was dry we stamped a background image in distress ink Black Soot over the tag. That gave us the base for the rest of our creation. Inside a 1×3″ Memory Frame we placed a background piece of dictionary paper attached to cardstock for sturdiness, over this we added Tim Holtz measuring tape ribbon. We used a Tim Holtz decorative corner on the top of the memory frame and added a sewing machine embellishment to the jump ring at the bottom of the frame with ribbon. Some double sided tape on the back of the memory frame to attach it to the tag and you have a new creation! Enjoy, the girls @ Destination Art!
