Glimmermist Journal Cover

Here is a simple 15 minute 5″ x 7″  journal cover, an easy project for gifts.  First on a piece of white cardstock, Glimmermist in olive vine was sprayed over Glimmermist Screens in the Decorative Corners design.  Then the screen was lifted and we gave a few minutes for the glimmermist to dry.  The next step was stamping with the Screen Prints Regal Classic Accents stamp in Distress Ink Black Soot over the area that the Glimmermist Screen masked on the cardstock (this is the white area).  The black ink was then zapped with a heat tool and  Distress Ink in Spiced Marmalade was added with a blending tool around the edges of the cardstock.  We finished off  the cover by corner rounding the edges of the cardstock with a punch, adding a scalloped border element and a Flashcard word from Collections.  Attach the piece directly onto the cover of the journal with double sided tape.  Voila!
